- ABEM/AOBEM/ABFM/ABIM
- EMS (required), ATLS (waived if ABEM certified, PALS (preferred, but not required), ACLS (waived if provider is ABEM boarded)
- COVID vaccine or exemption required
- Need 18-24 shifts per month covered
- Need days, nights, weekends, holidays covered
- 24,000 annual volume
- 2.7 patients per hour-including shared APP visits
- Trauma level 3
- Physician shift times: 6a-6p / 6p-6a
- APP shift times: 11a-11p
- Admissions: ED Physician is responsible for writing orders using pre-completed templates by diagnosis
- Backup specialties in house: Gen surgery & Cardiology (Mon-Fri but only during the – no nights or weekends)
- Backup specialties telemed: Trauma surgery; Neurology; Psychiatry
- Cerner EMR
- Temporary privileges available for clean files
