Hospitalist Physician for Robbinsdale, MN (Locum)

Job Description

Wapiti Medical Staffing is seeking 4-6 Hospitalist physicians for locum tenens coverage in Robbinsdale, MN.

POSITION/FACILITY DETAILS

• Available shifts begin as soon as possible and continue throughout 2022
• Assist with covering day and swing shifts
• Shift Options:
• Days 8am – 6pm (10 hours)
• Swing 2pm – 12am (10 hours)
  • 12 hour shifts are an option as well
• No ICU rounding; No Vent management; No Procedures
• Rounding volume 12-14 patient encounters inclusive of admissions
• APP support to buffer surges
• Fully staffed nocturnist program – 3 physicians 8pm to 8am
• Number of beds: 360+
• EMR: Epic
• Trauma Level: I

PHYSICIAN REQUIREMENTS

• Minnesota medical license (MD/DO)
• Minnesota DEA
• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Required life supports: ACLS, BLS
• Must be able to provide 7 on/7 off coverage for either day shift or swing shift
• Candidate must have recent hospitalist experience.  No ED based, mixed practice based, or critical access hospitals
