ABEM for Doctors Regional; ABFM or ABIM with significant ED experience accepted for FSEDs (NON-ABEM accepted for FSEDs). - Shifts: 6a-6p and 6p-6a; on-site days/nights/weekends
- No Call
- Support: APP coverage at each site (Doctors: 24 hrs/day; Northwest: 12 hrs/day; Portland: 11 hrs/day; Rockport: 9 hrs/day)
- Beds: Rockport 8; Portland 12; Northwest 15; Doctors Regional 18
- Volumes (avg daily): Rockport 45; Portland 60; Northwest 60; Doctors 80; Admissions: 10% at FSEDs, 20% at Doctors
- Consults: Yes, multiple per day; Follow-up: Generally none (feedback as needed)
- Trauma: Northwest & Doctors Regional Level IV; Portland & Rockport FSEDs not trauma centers; high acuity at all sites
- Procedures: Intubations, central lines, ultrasound use, OB delivery, dislocation reductions, chest tubes, trauma management, laceration repair
- EMR: Meditech
- Certifications: ABEM for Doctors Regional; ABFM or ABIM with significant ED experience accepted for FSEDs (NON-ABEM accepted for FSEDs)
- Experience: =2 years ED experience for FSEDs; or Family Medicine with EM fellowship
