COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS Surgery – Trauma (TS)
- Vacation coverage need
- Open dates:
- 3/11-17, 4/1-7, 5/6-12, 5/27-6/2, 7/29-8/4, 12/23-29
- All shifts are 7a-5p
POSITION DETAILS Surgery – Trauma (TS)
- Location: 80 miles East of Columbia, SC (Nearest Airport)
- Caseload: Day services are broken down into 3 separate services: Trauma, Surgical Critical Care & Acute Care Surgery.
- Most likely they’ll assign Trauma or Surgical Critical Care, decision would be made by lead Trauma Surgeon closer to start.
- All 3 services do have 1 APP dedicated to them
- Caseload: Predominantly blunt trauma, penetrating trauma & emergent procedures with Gen Surg. Possible for some ICU bedside procedures (tracheotomy, PEG tube, Chest Tube etc.)
- Some peds, mostly 13-15 age range
- Must be comfortable with Trauma and General Surgery Cases
- Per the client: “This hospital is a LVL 2 trauma center that does operate more like a Level 1”
