COVERAGE REQUIREMENTS Pediatric Hospitalist (PEDS HOSP)

• Dates: Feb 5^th -18^th, Plus Future Coverage
• 24-hour Call
• Credentialing Emergency Privs

POSITION DETAILS Pediatric Hospitalist (PEDS HOSP)

• Setting: Inpatient
• Volume: 15-20, with 0-2 daily admissions
• 220 annual delivers
• Working alongside 3 med/peds
• Cardiology and NP backup 
• Premature before 34 weeks are stabilized and transferred to Level III NICU @ Wausau
• Required Procedures:
  • Attend high risk deliveries
  • Routine New Born Care
• Preferred Procedures/Skills:
  • Vent Management
  • Eval and mngt of acute volume/BP issues
  • Central line insertion
  • Arterial line insertion
  • PA Catheter insertion
• EMR: EPIC
• Client Requirements: NRP
• Orientation the morning off
