- Shifts: Typical 7:00a-3:30p; may extend to 7:00a-5:00p or 7:00a-7:00p
- Days/Call: Weekdays only
- Patient ages: Primarily 2 days to 2 years; may include older pediatric patients depending on schedule
- Case types: General pediatric cases (hernias, pyloric stenosis, ENT)
- Care team model: Yes; supervise CRNAs up to a 1:4 ratio; mix of supervision and own cases
- Facility: 466 beds; Trauma center: Yes
- Systems: Meditech Expanse (EMR); required modules in HealthStream
- Requirements: Board Certified in Anesthesiology and participating in MOC; fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesiology, VA license, DEA/CSR
- Credentialing: Temporary/emergency privileges
