Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified, trauma level 3, and PEDs level 2 is looking
for a provider to cover beeper call only. There are an average of 750 deliveries per year and 5 patients per shift. One provider has stopped delivering babies and withdrawn from the OB call rotation, so the facility needs coverage for vacations until a new partner starts in November. The department has 16 beds (8 LDRP and 8 couplet/GYN). Nurse staffing is 1:1 during labor, 2:1 postpartum, and 4:1 in women’s health. The office has one NP and a total of 16 staff members, including MAs, RNs, and PSRs. The highest need dates are May 16–26 and August 4–10, but any additional coverage during that timeframe would be helpful. On weekdays, coverage is only needed at night, as current providers can handle daytime shifts.
