Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 2 is looking
for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. There are 9 exam rooms in the department. The facility is seeking a physician to provide full-time Hematology/Oncology care, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with a patient load of approximately 12–14 patients per day. The physician will manage a mix of hematology and oncology cases, including all types of cancer, though acute leukemia patients are typically referred to Dana Farber in Boston. Responsibilities also include managing post-transplant Bone Marrow/Stem Cell patients and performing in-office procedures such as bone marrow biopsies, spinal taps, and intrathecal chemotherapy. Call coverage is required outside of office hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a 1 in 4 rotation.
