a Board Certified or truly Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency)
Gastroenterologist with an active Iowa license (IMLC not accepted) and
ACLS certification for 24-hour pager call coverage with call back from
7a–7a. Coverage is needed June 16–20, June 24–27, and ongoing. Must be
comfortable with inpatient work and able to perform ERCP (EUS highly
preferred). Responsibilities include 3–4 outpatient procedures per day,
inpatient procedures, and consults, with adult-only patients in a
hospital-based setting using EPIC EMR. Clean malpractice and background
are required for quick privileges.
