Other Details: The facility is seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician with an active Georgia license and DEA to provide outpatient care for both adult and pediatric populations, primarily adults, in a public service clinic serving the homeless and underserved. The role involves day shifts starting ASAP, with no call responsibilities, and may require flexibility in hours (between 7 AM – 7 PM). The physician will see 10–12 patients per day using Epic EMR and must be comfortable performing
pelvic exams, pap smears, and employment physicals. While not
responsible for supervising mid-levels or responding to in-house codes, the physician must be willing to be trained in HIV care and Integrated Behavioral Health to provide occasional coverage in those areas. Experience with underserved, immigrant, and homeless populations is highly preferred, along with Spanish language skills. Familiarity with
regulations such as CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical quality assurance standards is required. The position includes direct patient care as well as responsibilities under the guidance of the Medical Director,
including adherence to protocols, lab/chart reviews, and compliance
oversight. Applicants must have at least 5 years of experience
post-training, hold BLS certification. Experience supervising staff or administrative work is also highly preferred.
