Center is seeking a General Cardiologist for full-time coverage for
three weeks per month starting June 23 for a six-month contract. The
schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with a one-hour lunch,
and includes 1–2 weekends per month of call. The position involves
seeing 16–20 patients per day, primarily aged 60 and older, in a
hospital-based setting at the Cardiovascular Institute. The role is
supported by two other physicians, and candidates must be board
certified in General Cardiology (preferred), hold an Arizona license or
IMLC, and possess current ACLS and BLS certifications. A minimum of two
years of experience is required. The EMR system used is Cerner, and
strong interpersonal and relational skills with staff and patients are
preferred. All hours are billable, and COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are
required, with exemptions allowed. Interviews will be conducted via
Teams.
