- Start ASAP; ongoing assignment
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (1-hour break)
- Full-time; at least 3 weeks per month
- No call, no weekends, no holidays (clinic closed on holidays)
- 8-hour daily guarantee; overtime applies after 9 hours
- Setting: OB/GYN outpatient clinic only; office consults (no inpatient call)
- Team/Support: Hospitalist model; comprehensive team includes REI, MFM, Gyn Onc, Uro/Gyn; 24/7 MFM support
- Patient encounters: Average ~19 per shift
- Required skills: Low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management, FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), OB ultrasound performance and interpretation (Level I and Level II), Decision-making for C-section, Office/minor gynecology (IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.)
- Preferred skills: Amniocentesis, Routine deliveries (vaginal, low forceps), Complicated deliveries (C-section, breech, multiples, abruptions, VBACs), Repair of 3rd/4th degree lacerations, Surgical gynecology: open; laparoscopic minor; operative/major (e.g., ectopic, oophorectomy, cystectomy, extensive lysis of adhesions)
- Certifications: BC or BE, BLS required; ABLS/ACLS/ATLS/PALS not required
- Credentialing: Estimated 90 days
