We are seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity with Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, Kansas.
This is a full-scope OB/GYN assignment with a combination of clinic coverage and shared call responsibilities. The facility is seeking approximately 1.0 FTE of coverage, which may be provided by one full-time physician or split between two qualified physicians.
Assignment Highlights
- Full-scope OB/GYN coverage
- Approximately 40 hours per week
- 2–3 clinic days per week
- Shared 1:6 call rotation
- Approximately 25–30 clinic patients per day
- Epic EMR
- 1.0 FTE coverage need; assignment may be covered by one or two physicians
- Initial 13-week commitment with strong likelihood of extension
Compensation & Travel
- Estimated all-in weekly compensation: $8,900–$9,400+
- $5,000 sign-on bonus
- Up to $2,000 travel reimbursement
- Flexible compensation package based on physician needs and eligibility
- Eligible travelers may receive lodging and Meals & Incidentals reimbursements based on applicable GSA rates
- Required professional liability insurance costs are reimbursed
- Assistance connecting with a preferred professional liability insurance broker is available if coverage is needed
Compensation packages may include taxable compensation, eligible travel-related per diem/reimbursements, and other applicable reimbursements. Eligibility for non-taxable reimbursements depends on the physician’s individual tax-home circumstances.
Licensure
A Kansas medical license is NOT required at the time of submission.
Qualified physicians may be submitted while Kansas licensure is being obtained.
