Cardiothoracic Surgery Locum Opportunity in Nevada
Location: Reno, Nevada
Start Date: May 19, 2025
⏱️ Schedule: Two weeks on / two weeks off

The Hospital is seeking an experienced APRN or PA to join their Cardiothoracic Surgery team on a locum basis.
This role primarily involves vein harvesting (endoscopic) and 1st assist in CT surgery, with a mix of clinic duties and call coverage.

Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM onsite + call
Coverage Dates:
05/19–06/02
06/16–06/30
07/14–07/28
08/11–08/25
Experience Required: 2+ years in CT Surgery and endoscopic vein harvesting
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PA/APRN license
Equipment Used: Maquet Vasoview Hemopro 2
Team Structure: 1 CVT Surgeon
Credentialing & Licensing:
Temporary privileges may be available for candidates with clean records.
Active NV license required. IMLC welcome.
Flu & COVID vaccinations required (or exemption).
Additional Info:
Clinic census: 2–6 patients/day
Call volume depends on hospital census (avg. 4–6)
Orientation provided on your first scheduled shift
Virtual interview (camera required)
