Job Description
Medstaff has a new Locum Tenens opening for a Board Certified Palliative Medicine physician in Macon, Georgia. Macon has a vibrant cultural scene, with numerous museums, theaters, and galleries. The city is known for its music heritage, particularly in the genres of soul, blues, and rock ‘n’ roll.
Start Date: ASAP, 30-60 days privileging timeframe
Length: April – Dec 2024
Hours: Every other week, Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (40-hour work week)
- 100% adult population, with 30% geriatrics
- Average Patients Daily: 4 – 6
- Vent management required
- ICU/CCU – Yes
- Other provider coverage includes 2 APPs and part-time MD
- New grads accepted
Credentials: Must have active GA medical license and DEA. Board certified. COVID vaccination.
Compensation includes a competitive hourly rate, travel, housing, and Medical Malpractice.
