Details: Hospital ED with 32,000 Annual Volume is seeking additional locum tenens provider support for their Emergency Medicine department. Department has 24 ED and Fast Track beds. Average of 88 patients per 24-hour day between 2-3 providers. Special services include Case Management, ICU, EEG, Diagnostic Radioisotope, Home Health, Hospice, L&D, MRI, Nuclear Med, Outpatient Surgery, Wound Care, Peds. EMR used is Meditech.
Credentials: Active Louisiana medical license. DEA, CDS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS. EM Core privileges as well as Moderate and Deep Sedations privileges will be required. Board certified or eligible in EM, IM, or FM. Must demonstrate a minimum of 1500 hours ER experience within the past 3 years, CME past 2 years, case logs past 2 years, copies of all education and training diplomas, SS Card, Driver’s License, TB, Flu, Color Photo, Moderate & Deep Sedation Approval by previous ED Medical Director. All clinicians MUST be vaccinated or request an exemption form – vaccination status is required upon presentation.
