Locum Tenens Anesthesiology Opportunity – York, PA

VeloSource has an Anesthesiologist opportunity open to Physicians in York, Pennsylvania.

– State License Required to Apply: Yes

– Minimum # Years Experience: 5

– Requirements Notes: Pediatric Anesthesia (age 6 months +), Regional Anesthesia

Blocks (PECs, Popliteal, Saphenous, Interscalene), Chart review and CRNA oversight, Fast-paced environment

– DEA Required: No

– State Licensure: Pennsylvania

– Certifications Required: ACLS; BLS; PALS

– CSR License Required: No

– Privileges Available: Full Privileges

– EMR / Charting: Epic

– Providers Typical Day: · Running 4-5 ORs/day, OR Start Time 0700 with typical day 6am to 4pm, with occasional patient discharge going longer

– Covering a variety of rooms with at least 1 pediatric room (ENT, eyes)

– 3 · Medical Director (Colon & Rectal surgeon) on-site

– Working with seasoned CNRAs

– Performing chart reviews for upcoming cases

– Working with the Sr Anesthesiologist, Unit Director & Sr Director of the facility

– Will see children ages 6-months and up for ENT and ophthalmology cases, and occasional general surgery so the provider must be proficient with peds

– No Call, no weekends

– Will Candidate Work Solo: No

– On Call: No

– Typical Cases Seen: Endoscopies, ENT, General Surgery, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, Uro-GYN

– Procedures: 100% Multi-Specialty Surgical Cases: Endoscopies, ENT, General Surgery, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Plastics, Podiatry, Urology, Uro-GYN

– No vascular, no cardiology
