A hospital in Texas is seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist for call-only locum coverage—no clinic, just critical cardiac care. This is your opportunity to step in where it matters most, with 1–2 weekends per month starting June and ongoing.
The Role
– Provide hospital-based emergency consults and inpatient rounds
– Manage STEMI response and perform advanced interventional procedures

– Radiologists read nuclear studies
– You lead treatment decisions and interventions
Required Skills & Procedures
– Non-Invasive Cardiology
– PA Catheter Placement
– Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump Placement
– Cardiac Catheterization
– Angioplasty
– Intracoronary Stent Placement
– Atherectomy
– TEE (Preferred)
– Heart Biopsy (Not Required)
Qualifications
– MD or DO
– Board Certified or Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology
– Active Texas Medical License
– Experience managing acute cardiac cases in a 24/7 STEMI Receiving Center
– Excellent judgment and procedural skill in the cath lab
– Clean file to be eligible for emergency privileges
