We have a need for General Surgery coverage in Northeastern, NC for select coverage blocks this fall and winter with inpatient, outpatient, and call responsibilities. Open to more details?
Schedule: Coverage blocks include Nov 4–9, Nov 15–18, and Dec 30–Jan 4; mix of clinic, procedures, and call coverage including nights and weekends
Setting: Inpatient and outpatient general surgery with full call responsibilities
Patient Volume: ~25 clinic patients per day with up to 8 surgical cases and low inpatient census
EMR: Epic
Certifications Required: BLS (ACLS and PALS required for sedation privileges)
Required Skills: General surgery including endoscopy (upper/lower), laparoscopic procedures, emergency surgical care, and inpatient consult coverage
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible required (General Surgery)
Licensure: North Carolina license required
Support: Independent coverage with manageable volume and full surgical scope
