Wapiti Medical Staffing is seeking a physician for ED locum coverage in Mason City, Iowa
POSITION/FACILITY DETAILS
- Ongoing dates
- Trauma Level 2
- 250 beds
- 33, 000 annual visits
- Volume: 80-90 per day
- Peak shifts/busiest is during 11a-11p
- Transfer out less than 3% of patients
- High acuity
- Cerner EMR
- Midlevel coverage. Our hours are as follows: Physician coverage 24/7 and Double physician coverage 8a-2a
PHYSICIAN REQUIREMENTS
- Board Certified ABEM (would be willing to take FM or BE w/in 5 years of residency) – Required
- Clean background a must – Required
- IA licenses – Required (NO Covid Emergency Licenses or IMLC)
- ACLS & PALS are required through AHA; if ER boarded ACLS and PALS are waived; ATLS required for trauma privileges
- Availability – Required
- Covid Vaccination – Required
