Specialties Accepted: Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine (Board-certified or Board-eligible) Start Date: ASAP Schedule: 8-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Shifts: 24/7 physician coverage, 12 hours of APC coverage (10:00 AM – 10:00 PM) Practice Setting: Hospital-based Emergency Department Types of Cases: Medium acuity, no trauma center designation, with an admission rate of 12% Ages: Pediatric to Adult Requirements: Board Certified or Eligible (ABEM, AOBEM, ABIM, ABFM). ABMS certification required; AAPS certification not accepted. ACLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) are required for non-EM boarded physicians. ATLS is preferred but not required. NRP certification required for non-EM boarded physicians (must be maintained until board-certified). Proof of primary COVID vaccination series. Current TB, flu, Hep B, MMR, and Varicella titers/vaccinations. Proof of 10 years of malpractice insurance coverage (COIs not required). Copies of all diplomas and training certificates.
