Annual ED volume: 40,000
Emergency department: 45 beds plus 5 triage rooms
Coverage model: 37.28 physician hours and 27.57 NP or PA hours
EMR: Epic
Physician Shift Examples
6:30 AM to 4:00 PM
10:00 AM to 9:00 PM
3:00 PM to 12:00 AM
9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Required Qualifications
MD or DO
Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine with two years Emergency Medicine experience
Active Ohio medical license
DEA with Ohio address
For ABFM or ABIM: ATLS maintained
For ABEM: documentation of ATLS completion
Credentialing
Privileging timeframe: about 90 days
Orientation includes EMR training and one shadow shift
