We have a need for Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage in Altoona, PA for ongoing block coverage with a structured long-weekend schedule. Open to more details?
- Schedule: Typically 2 long weekends per month (Thursday 7a – Monday 7a); additional coverage for PTO/holidays as needed
- Setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and OR-based cardiothoracic surgery
- EMR: Epic (Bridges)
- Required Skills: Cardiothoracic surgery including operative cases, inpatient rounding, clinic coverage, and full 24-hour call responsibilities; TAVR experience preferred
- Board Status: Board Certified required (Cardiothoracic Surgery)
- Licensure: Pennsylvania license or IMLC accepted
- Credentialing: Start upon completion of credentialing
- Support: Established cardiac surgery program with structured coverage and consistent case mix
