Work Dates Needed: Approx. May 2026 (or as soon as credentialed) thru May 31, 2026, plus four additional one year extensions (total of 5 yrs)
Preferred Schedule: Call Back, Stand-By and On-Call Services during evenings, weekends and holidays. Evenings: 4:30pm to 8am. 24-hr weekend and Holiday Call. On-call providers must be available w/n 15 minutes by phone and on-site within 60 minutes.
Worksite Setting: VA Hospital (Vascular/Thoracic clinics and OR)
Scope of Work: 1 CTS needed for clinic and OR. Some procedures could include operating on the heart, esophagus, lung, and major blood vessels w/n the chest cavity. Treating heart valve defects, coronary artery disease, lung cancer and/or chest injuries, etc.
Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: Board Certified and Fellowship. Active/unrestricted state medical license. Active DEA. NPI. VetPro credentialing. Security Clearance and Fingerprinting. ACLS & BLS. Current Immunizations.
