Cardiologist for Scottsbluff, NE (Locum)

Job Description

UCHealth is in need of a Locum Fellowship-trained Non-Invasive or Invasive Cardiology Physician to start as soon as credentialed.

• ASAP, 7-10 days per month, or 1 weekend per month, schedule varies.
• Need to be fellowship-trained non-invasive or invasive Cardiology
• EMR: Epic
• 90 day credentialing timeframe
• Inpatient – Internal Medicine care without ICU coverage.
• 100% Adult Patient population
• 2-5 Patients per day
• Non-invasive procedures include Echocardiography, TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiogram) & Nuclear cardiology.
• Invasive procedures include Cardiac catheterization
• The team is comprised of two primary cardiologist with 1 NP supportive staff. The NP is not on every weekend.
• The collective UCHealth Heart and Vascular team includes six cardiothoracic surgeons, seven electrophysiologists, nine interventional cardiologists and nearly 20 cardiologists.
• Because of the unique partnership between UCHealth Heart Center and Regional West Medical Center, your patients have more options for consistent, quality and safe heart care.

Submission Requirements
• Board Certified Internal Medicine – Required
• Active NE license – Highly Preferred
• Must have 3 years experience since they will be working solo & independently – Required, note at name clear.
• Fellowship Trained – Required
• COVID vaccine – Required, note at time of name clear

Certification Requirements
• ACLS
• BLS
• Board Certified

State License Requirements
• Nebraska
