Job Description

Berkshire Medical Center is looking for a NP/PA Surgical First Assist

• Dates of Coverage: As soon as possible, lasting at least to the end of the year.
• OR, rounding, admitting possible in-patient coverage
• Schedule (Shifts/Hours): Preferred schedule clinic 7a-3: 30am, call overnights on Weekdays 3: 30p-7am
• Call Schedule: 3: 30p-7a weekdays. 7a-7a Weekends
• Call Ratio: variable
• Average Number of Patients Per Day: variable
• EMR: Meditech
• Level 3 Trauma
• Certification Requirement: BLS
• Supervising physician will be the Chair of Surgery
• Must have experience as a surgical fist assist
• Procedures: General, GYN, and Urology robotic experience preferred
• Adults Only

Submission Requirements
• Active MA license – Required
• BLS – Required
• Board certified – Required
• COVID vaccination – Required at time of name clear
• Davinci, GYN and Urology experience, as well as, experience on the surgical floor/surgery – Required
• Local candidates – Required
• Must be able to work a minimum of 3 month block if travel is required
