PA Week 2025

PA Week, held annually October 6–12, is a national observance led by the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) to spotlight how Physician Assistants go beyond in patient care, advocacy, and medical practice. The campaign emphasizes PAs’ roles across specialties, teamwork, communication, and their commitment to expanding access to quality care. During PA Week, members are encouraged to share stories (“PAs Go Beyond”), nominate standout PAs, and use toolkits and awareness materials to elevate the profession’s profile. PA Week is intended for PAs themselves, allied health professionals, patients, advocacy groups, and the public.
