- Required Skills & Procedures: CRNAs practice predominantly non-medically directed by an anesthesiologist. Pediatric anesthetics are the only cases that an anesthesiologist is present for. We do a mix of general, orthopedic, ophthalmology, gyn, ENT and plastic surgery cases. There is always a free anesthetist to cover the pre anesthesia area and PACU. Experience with regional anesthesia (spinals, peripheral nerve blocks) would be helpful, but not necessary
