Position Overview
Provide outpatient primary care and acute episodic care in a corporate health clinic setting for employees and family members. This role includes wellness and prevention focused care and may include occupational health and workers’ compensation services as outlined below.
Clinical Scope
Ages: 2 and olderPatient volume: up to approximately 3 patients per hourCare includes wellness and prevention, acute episodic visits, and chronic condition managementWorkers’ compensation services may include injury evaluation and treatment, initial and follow up visits, and return to work determinationsOccupational health services may include pre employment physicals, drug and alcohol testing, suturing and laceration repair, splinting or minor fracture care, and occupational testing as outlined in the order detailsNo pain management
- EMR: Athena experience preferred
Required Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantNational certificationActive Florida licenseDEA requiredMinimum 2 years of experience requiredTrainingPaid shadow training is preferred prior to workingOnline OSHA and HIPAA certifications must be completed prior to start as outlined in the order details
