06474B - We have nine full-time Family Medicine Physician openings across five Southeast Alaska communities, from urban clinics to rural towns and more remote practices. New graduates from rural-track residencies are encouraged to apply! We are looking for 9 Physicians total for 5 separate SE AK Locations!



Compensation:

• Annual Salary Range: starting at $288,764 (DOE)
• Additional wRVU productivity and quality incentives
• Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance available with a 3-year commitment
• First Year Total compensation (base salary, bonuses, incentives) valued at up to $418,527

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• Telemedicine work included
• Call: Responsibilities vary by location

Responsibilities

• Patient Volume: Varies by location but averages 12-18 patients per day
• Staffing Mix: One MA per Physician, Primary Care nurse manager, Nurse Triage, Radiology Tech
• Manage longitudinal patient panel, preventive care, referrals, minor procedures, quality improvement, EMR documentation, APP guidance; some village locations may include rural urgent/emergent care and after-hours call. Some sites may include occasional long-term care or home visits. Procedures may include biopsies, joint injections, casting, contraceptive implants/IUDs, suturing.
• Provide comprehensive primary care across the lifespan, preventive care, chronic disease management, minor procedures, clinical leadership.

Position Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Alaska MD or DO license or willingness to obtain
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration
• Active BLS, ACLS required for all locations
• ATLS, NRP, PALS, BLSO or CALS may be required for some locations
• New Graduates with rural track encouraged to apply
• Rural health and Alaska Native health experience beneficial
• Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
