Physician/Doctor - Internal Medicine - Hospitalist

Location: TN

Position Overview

Provide inpatient hospitalist coverage, including admissions, cross-coverage, and collaboration with the care team.

Clinical Scope

Highlights

• Open ICU model (intensivist support available)
• No procedures required
• Respond to codes as required
• EMR: Epic (with MModal)

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
• Active Tennessee medical license
• Active DEA registration with Tennessee address
• BLS required; ACLS required
• Case logs required for the past 2 years
• CME documentation required for the past 2 years
• Proof of 40 Category 1 CME hours (past 2 years)
• Current-year flu vaccine required
• COVID vaccination preferred (not required)
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing / Onboarding Items

Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60 days
