Urgent Care NP or PA

Location: TX

Schedule

Clinic hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 AM–9:00 PM; Saturday-Sunday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM; expected 6–10 shifts per month

Position Overview

Provide urgent care coverage for patients up to age 21, including evaluation, treatment, and common urgent care procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat urgent care complaints (patients up to age 21)
• Perform common urgent care procedures including incision and drainage (I&D), splinting, and suturing
• Manage approximately 4 patients per hour
• Document care using Experity EMR
• Provide coverage across multiple clinic locations within the assigned region

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas NP or PA license
• Board certification required
• PALS certification required

Preferred Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred (pediatric experience preferred)
• Weekend availability preferred
