Compensation:

• Annual Salary Range: $269,259 - $299,177 (DOE)
• Additional wRVU productivity and quality incentives
• Up to $60k in Sign-On Bonus & Relocation Assistance available with a 3-year commitment

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
• 4 weekly administrative hours
• Telemedicine work included
• No Call

Responsibilities

• Patient Volume: Up to 18 patients per day
• Staffing Mix: One MA per Physician, primary care nurse case manager, nurse triage, diabetic nurse educator, nutritionist, collaborative Physician/APP team, access to onsite and visiting specialists including surgery, Ortho & ENT
• Manage a longitudinal panel of adult and elderly patients; provide preventive care, chronic disease management, referrals, minor procedures, and quality improvement. Provide clinical guidance and oversight to APPs, collaborate with onsite and visiting specialists, and maintain timely EMR documentation. Procedures may include treadmill testing, arthrocentesis, joint injections, colposcopy, incision and drainage, Nexplanon, biopsies, toenail removal, and other procedures within the physician's training. Occasional long-term care, home visits, rural outreach, or hospital consultation may be available.

Position Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Alaska MD or DO license or willingness to obtain
• Board Certification or Eligibility in Internal Medicine
• Active, unrestricted DEA registration
• Active BLS
• Active ACLS preferred
• New Graduates welcome to apply!
• Rural health and Alaska Native health experience beneficial
• Must be culturally sensitive and willing to embrace the native community and their culture
