Shift Details:

• Requirements: Must be experienced in the utilization of the Spectrum Pump. Dedicated pediatric experience is strictly required.
• Patient Population/Case Load: 2 Pediatric patients per shift
• Case Mix: Inpatient / Operating Room
• Additional Note: The department operates on an N+1 staffing model. The locum provider will work alongside two (2) other perfusionists, supporting a team of three (3) surgeons and four (4) anesthesiologists.

Licensing and Privileging:

• License: An active North Carolina state license is required.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perfusionist to join our team in North Carolina. This locum tenens position requires a dedicated professional with a PhD credential and board certification. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pediatric cardiothoracic cases, specifically including transplants and VAD management, and must be proficient in the utilization of the Spectrum Pump.

The position offers a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with a focus on providing exceptional care to pediatric patients. The successful candidate will manage a case load of approximately 2 patients per shift in an inpatient and operating room setting.
