Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist

Location: WV

Schedule

Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

Position Overview

Provide inpatient hospital medicine advanced practice coverage in a critical access hospital setting, with physician tele-coverage available 24 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite NP/PA coverage for hospital medicine service, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Manage an average daily census of approximately 9 inpatient patients
• Collaborate with physician tele-coverage available 24 hours
• Document care using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Graduate degree as a Nurse Practitioner with certification as FNP, AGACNP, or ACNP; or licensure as a Physician Assistant
• Active West Virginia NP or PA license
• Active DEA registration
• Minimum 2 years of hospital medicine experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
