Locum Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Location: Tennessee

Schedule

12-hour APP shifts within a 24-hour physician coverage model

Practice Setting

Emergency Department | Community hospital

• Annual Volume: Approximately 25,000 ED visits
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

(all applicants):

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• ACLS and PALS
• Documentation of MMR and Varicella vaccination or immunity
• Two-step TB test within the past 12 months
• Case logs from the previous two years required for credentialing

• Active Tennessee RN license
• Active Tennessee Nurse Practitioner license with prescriptive authority
• Active DEA with Tennessee address
• Board certification through AANP or ANCC

• Active Tennessee Physician Assistant license
• Active DEA with Tennessee address (Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5)
• Active NCCPA certification

• Preferred Experience: Two years of recent Emergency Medicine or related specialty experience. New graduates may be considered based on site needs.
