Job Type: 1099 Locum Tenens Contract

Date Range: January 18th - March 31st, 2027

Compensation: $175.00 hourly rate

Schedule:

• 1, 8-hr shift per month - 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Clinic coverage only, no call

Job Details:

• Patient Volume: Average 18-20 patients per day
• Staffing Mix: 1 RN or Health Tech available to assist during exams and procedures
• Routine diabetic foot exams
• Debridement of nails, calluses, ulcerations, and other skin lesions
• Treatment of foot and lower-leg infections or ulcerations with antibiotics
• Diagnosis and treatment of peripheral neuropathy and diabetes-related gait abnormalities, including prescribing functional and accommodative orthoses
• Fitting and measurement for diabetic shoes and inserts and prescribing a corrected replacement pair if unworn items do not fit properly
• Follow-up for adjustments and patient concerns

Position Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted Podiatry license - any US State license accepted!
• Active DEA registration
• Podiatry credentials and professional liability insurance must be up to date
• Active NPI
• COVID-19 vaccination (waivers accepted)
• Experience with diabetic foot care, wound care, and prescribing diabetic therapeutic shoes/inserts highly preferred
• Experience working with underserved populations highly preferred
