A hospital on North Carolina's coast has an opportunity for a General Surgeon to provide locum tenens coverage.
Opportunity Details:
- Schedule: 24-hour in-house call, specific dates
- Daily Census: 5-10 surgical patients
- Responsibilities: ED consults, manage surgical admissions, round on existing patients, discharges, etc.
- Case Mix: Primarily bread-and-butter cases, including appendectomies, cholecystectomies, GI bleeds, general ED surgical consults
- Must be comfortable performing upper and lower endoscopy
- CRNA support available
- Must be board-eligible or board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
