Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) (Locum Tenens)

Position Overview

Emergency department APP coverage in a collaborative EM model. Providers should be comfortable managing a broad spectrum of acute presentations and working alongside physician coverage.

Clinical Scope

• Emergency department evaluation and management
• Acute care procedures consistent with scope and site capability
• Collaboration with physician and nursing teams

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Georgia NP license (and RN license) or active, unrestricted Georgia PA license
• National certification (AANP or ANCC for NP; NCCPA for PA)
• DEA registered to Georgia address if required for prescribing in this role
• Current ACLS and PALS (ATLS or trauma equivalent may be required per site)
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify

Credentialing and Onboarding

• Credentialing may require recent case logs and CME documentation
• Credentialing timelines vary by site
