Locum Emergency Medicine Physician (MD/DO)

/ Job Type: Contract | Emergency Medicine
- Position Summary: Provide comprehensive emergency care and serve as the supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants within an Emergency Medicine department.
Requirements:
- Active, unrestricted Tennessee medical license
- Active DEA registration with Tennessee address (Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5)
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine through ABEM, ABFM, ABIM, ABPS, or AOA
- ACLS and ATLS
- PALS required if not Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
- NRP required for non-ABEM providers
- Malpractice coverage of $1,000,000 per claim / $3,000,000 aggregate required
- Case logs from the previous two years and documentation of special procedure training, if applicable
- Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME required upon initial appointment and every two years thereafter
