We have a need for Cardiothoracic Surgery coverage in Duluth, MN beginning October 2026 for an ongoing call-only assignment with flexible block scheduling. Open to more details?
Schedule: Ongoing coverage starting October 1, 2026; 7–10 days per month with opportunities for up to 14 days monthly
Setting: Inpatient Cardiothoracic Surgery
Call: Beeper call with a 20-minute response time; 1:2 call rotation
Coverage Model: Preferred block scheduling with weekend-to-weekend coverage
EMR: Epic
Required Skills: Full-spectrum Cardiothoracic Surgery including CABG, valve repair and replacement, thoracic surgery, VATS, aneurysm repair, congenital cardiac repairs, LVAD, TAVR, bronchoscopy, and critical care management
Board Status: Board Certified or Board Eligible required (Cardiothoracic Surgery)
Fellowship: Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship required
Certifications Required: ACLS and ATLS
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Support: Established cardiovascular program within a Level II Trauma Center
