Location: NC

Schedule

Day shifts may include 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; call may be 1 - 2 times per week with occasional 24-hour weekend call; call response time is 30 minutes

Position Overview

Provide anesthesiology coverage, including scheduled day shifts and call coverage as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia services across a broad case mix (varies by site)
• Perform and document spinals, regional blocks, and epidurals (proficiency required)
• Use EPIC for documentation

Clinical Scope

Highlights

• Case types may include general surgery, vascular, neuro, OB/GYN, and urology
• Additional case types may include ENT, cataracts, orthopedics (no totals), endoscopy, and pediatric cases
• Providers may float between worksites throughout the week

Required Qualifications

• MD/DO
• Active North Carolina medical license
• DEA and controlled substance registration
• ACLS, PALS, and BLS through AHA (as required)
• Case logs required
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing / Onboarding Items

Credentialing timeframe: 60 - 90 days
