• Location: Virginia
• Schedule: Day shifts, 8 hour shifts required with 10 hour shifts preferred, Monday through Friday. No call. No weekends.

Position Overview

Provide anesthesiology coverage in a hospital setting in a medical direction model. This role includes a broad case mix and requires board certification as outlined in the order details.

Clinical Scope

Medical direction model with supervision ratio up to 1 to 4Case mix includes general, neuro, orthopedics, obstetrics, and pediatrics

• EMR: Epic

Responsibilities

include pre anesthesia assessment, discussing anesthetic options and risks, induction, maintenance, emergence, physiologic monitoring, and clinical interventions as needed

Required Qualifications

MD or DOBoard certified in AnesthesiologyActive Virginia medical license required to presentCompletion of an approved anesthesia residencyAdditional RequirementsProvider must reside more than 60 miles from the worksiteCredentialingEstimated privileging timeframe is approximately 60 daysAccelerated privileges may be possible for clean and complete files as outlined in the order details
