Psychiatrist – Inpatient for Traverse City, MI (Locum to Perm)
Job Description
Munson Healthcare: General Adult Psychiatric unit, no children
- Shifts are 7 days on/7 days off.
- Each day is 7AM-5PM for a total of 70 hours. During the 7 days on, provider covers 2 nights of call.
- Call Schedule: Call is 5PM-7AM and primarily via phone. During the 7 day shift – the psychiatrist covers call on the Saturday night that (s)he is scheduled and another weekday night during his/her schedule.
- Call Ratio is 4x per month.
- Cerner Power Chart EMR
- Munson Medical Center is a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Munson is a fast-paced facility – providers MUST have excellent organizational skills as well as EMR experience.
- Providers must also be comfortable working as a locum during the COVID-19 pandemic; Munson has all necessary precautions in place.

Submission Requirements
- Board Certified – Required
- MI license – Required
- COVID vaccination – Required at time of name clear
- Providers MUST participate in MI Medicaid/CHAMPS – Required
- Clean background with NO disciplinary actions and NO malpractice – Required
