Physician – IM for Colorado Springs, CO (Locum)
Job Description
UCHealth is in need of a Locum Internal Medicine Physician to start as soon as credentialed.
• ASAP – ongoing
• Monday – Friday, 7a-5p with a 12p-1p lunch; 4 8hr days and 1 4hr day
• 2 weeks per month minimum
• Call: 2-6 days per month, weekday and weekend
• Adult and Geriatric patients, no pediatrics. Ability to manage complex and aged patients.
• 2 Physicians in practice; 1 NP, 2.6 PAs, 2 RNs, 12 MAs.
• Not required to supervise
• 28 exam rooms
• Outpatient only
• 16-18 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• 90 day credentialing timeframe
• prefer local but will consider candidates who require travel
• Willing to accept IM or FM candidates. Prefer IM but will consider FM.
Submission Requirements
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency) – Required
• Active CO license – Highly Preferred
• DEA, BLS – Required, need to obtain before starting
• COVID vaccine – Required, note at time of name clear
