Medicus is collaborating with a hospital 30 minutes from Dallas, Texas, with an opportunity for a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide locum coverage.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 24-hour shifts
- Shifts available at multiple hospitals
- Level II and Level III NICUs
- Daily Volume: 4-20 neonates and 4-18 newborns, depending on site
- Duties: Rounding and managing NICU infants, attending high-risk deliveries, and rounding on newborns
- Required Procedures: Neonatal intubations, umbilical line placements, needle chest thoracentesis, neonatal delivery attendance, and resuscitation
- Support Staff: Nurses, RTs, therapists, pediatric NPs, neonatologists
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
