- Average number of surgical cases per day: 4-6
- Will the Locum Tenen Physician be Required to Supervise CRNAs? (Please Explain): no, there is one CRNA that is supervised by the physician who is on first call
- Trauma level 2
- Number of Anesthesiologists in Practice: 12 Anesthesiologists and 1 CRNA
- Will the Locum Tenens Physician be Responsible for Preparing the Anesthesia Cart? No
- All ages, for Peds it is mostly ENT – tubes & tonsils
- Number of Operating Rooms: Usually 9 rooms running at one time
- Do You Require Fellowship Training for Cardiac or Pediatric Cases? No
- General surgical cases adult and pediatric, minor nerve blocks, IV regional anesthesia, thoracic cases (except open heart), spinal anesthesia, epidural anesthesia, OB cases, Neurosurgical cases.
- Will pay for full travel
- Willing to accept locum, locum to perm, perm
- Credentialing timeframe: 4-6 weeks if provider/agency is on top of things, can do quicker if clean app
- Physicians requesting clinical privileges are expected to provide evidence of graduation from an accredited medical school, with Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy and graduate of a certified ACGME or AOA approved anesthesia residency program
Ideal candidates must hold (or be willing to obtain):
- Board Certified Anesthesia – Required
- Active IA license or IMLC – Required
- NRP, ACLS – Required to obtain before starting
- Availability – Required, note at time of presentation
- COVID vaccine – Required
