NP Week is an annual celebration recognizing the essential contributions of nurse practitioners across the United States. This year’s observance runs from November 9-15, 2025, highlighting NPs’ role in primary, acute and specialty care across communities. With over 431,000 licensed NPs serving patients in diverse settings and logging nearly 1 billion patient visits annually, the week serves both to honour practitioners and to elevate public awareness of their impact. The AANP provides a resource guide including talking points, media-kits, proclamation templates and activity suggestions to support facilities, groups and individual NPs in marking the week.
